Unlike most of my funny pic posts, this one is real. This was us playing "stick pull" in Nauvoo. The other guy is Jonny. The game was over pretty quickly...

Nauvoo Continued...
So Nauvoo was epic beyond description. We went to Independence, Omaha, Quincey, Farr West, and of course Nauvoo. I've been to a lot of the places before, but they were more of a sight-seeing thing. This time, it was more spiritual (aka better). If you want to see some pics, go to shepardcreekysa.com and look at... stuff. If there's not much on it, relax, the rest will be up soon. Or so I'm told...
Nauvoo
I guess it's official: I'm headed to Nauvoo for a second time. I'm moving out on Friday with the Oakridge Stake's singles ward. We'll be stopping at Winter Quarters, Independence, etc. on the way there. It sounds really awesome, but I just have one thing that I'm absolutely fearing: the bus ride. I really, REALLY HATE long car/bus/plane rides. When I went to Europe, it was an eight hour flight with us being stalled for 5 hours on the tarmac. I wanted to hurt someone.
But that aside, I'm actually pretty excited for it. I'll get to see some people that I haven't hung out with since high school. It'll be interesting, to say the very least.
Here at the end of all things.
It's still hard for me to believe that I've already finished a whole year of college. And what a crazy year it was. I made friends (and an enemy or two), hung out with people, studied, LOTS of homework, Wal-Mart runs, gymnastics, dealt with crazy people, gave rides, and was an all-around nut. I'm going to miss it a lot, but I'll be back in a few years. I think it's only fair to give the University a while to prepare for my triumphant return.
New Compy!
Hey there, peeps. I've got myself (and by myself, I mean my family) a new computer! This thing's a monster. 500g hard drive, 4g of RAM, and a triple-core processor. It is truly a man among men. It's glow gives me strength and sustenance. Mmmm....
Whoa...
Okay, I like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but these guys have way too much time on their hands...

Green!
It's official! Officially official! The jolly grass of Logan has returned to it's wonderful shade of emerald GREEN! Hark, spring cometh with increasing haste! Behold, the robins and crows (who wake me up every morning...) have returned! Oh, joy!
Sorry for the Biblical stuff. I couldn't help it. Such happiness fills my soul!
Dang Snow...
It snowed again... Spring has decided to be especially cruel this year. It said, "hey, how about I get started early this year!" Alas, the snow melted and the grass started to show (finally). But then Spring goes ahead and takes a little sick day, and snow comes back! I mean, c'mon Spring! Get your act together!
Warm weather is (supposedly) on its way!
Don't get me wrong; I love the winter. But by February and March, I'm just plain sick of it. Especially in Logan, winter seems to hold on to its dying breath instead of just going away. But behold! The snow's finally melting at USU, and the people rejoiceth.
Spring Break in St. George
Spring break was pretty sweet. I went to St. George and camped about five miles into Arizona from Monday to Thursday with three of my buddies from Greaves Hall. We went "wandering" (hiking with no real destination), climbing, lizard hunting (we caught 4), and saw some Indian carvings. It was wicked fun.
Spring break draws near!
That's right, crazies, the wonderful entity that is spring break is nigh upon us. That means one whole week of no school and no worries. Well, I'm sure there are worries, but they don't count. Why, you ask? Because it's spring break, my friend! I'll give you an update on what goes down during that awesome week of weeks.
Whoa...
Whoa, it's been a while. Not much has happened since last time. I've just been working on my mission papers and such. I swear those things are gonna give me an ulcer. The medical side of the paperwork is making me crazy. But hey, it's only once, right?
I know it's only February, but I really can't wait for spring to come along. Don't get me wrong, I love winter; I've just had enough. It's time for a change, preferably a warmer change. That'd be great, thanks. (Who am I talking to?)
Singles' Awareness Day!
Whew, it's been a while. Happy Singles' Awareness Day! Or, for those of you lucky enough to be in a relationship... valentine's day... whee...
So, I thought spring was almost here in Logan. It hadn't snowed in a while, and it was getting warmer by the hour, I swear. But, lo and behold, the biggest snowstorm of the season smashes us. New snow on the ground. Blech. But hey, it's melting pretty fast, so there is hope yet. don't get me wrong, I love winter... just not anymore...
That one song.
Do you have a song that, when you listen to it, it makes you think of something specific? I'm listening to one right now. It's called "Angel Eyes," by Jim Brickman. It reminds me of my brother John; he used to play it all the time on our piano (and sometimes still does). Maybe it's because it's one of the only songs he knows...
I know, it was a random thought, but it's better than nothing. Go and listen to one of those songs. It's probably been a while. If not, pin the blue ribbon upon thy chest. Please, go ahead.
Not a lot of time.
I'm going to bed in a sec, but I knew I should write something. Here ya go:
