I can't breath...

Every winter, Logan gets cold. Very cold. Not the "grab a jacket and you'll be fine" cold, but the "if you have skin showing, you'll lose it" cold. And it's that inhumanly freezing weather that causes this:

It's called an inversion, and it's a thing of unimaginable evil. See, Logan's build like a bowl, with the whole valley (and lands northward) sloping down into it. Not only does water go this way, but the air as well (especially polluted air). What happens is that the cold air "traps" the pollution from cars, cows, etc. into the bowl (Logan), and it sits there until a storm blows it away.
I love Logan, I really do. In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that it's my favorite city. But like when your husband forgets to pick up the milk or the girlfriend crashes your car, you can still be a tad irked at a loved one... or place.
I've always had pretty keen senses, and smell is no exception. But it's times like these that I curse that nose of mine. When I wake up and go to classes, I can smell, even sometimes taste, the dirty air.
I don't just post this to complain, but rather to... you know what, I think I am just complaining. It's a warning too, I suppose: if you're coming to Logan soon, bring a respirator.

That is a big reason we moved out of Utah! The air quality is the worst..I blame all the lame big cars everyone drives around, and the cow toots!

Hi Mark,
Here is how I change the background on my blog.
Go to www.thecutestblogontheblock.com
On the left hand side click on Backgrounds. Here you can browse all the different background options. When you have found a background that you like click on it. On the page it takes you to it will have a picture of the background you have chosen with detailed instructions on how to apply it to your blog. It is so easy and so much fun. Let me know if you have any problem with it.

What's All This, Then?

Greetings and Salutations, I'm Mark. This blog is a little plot of cyberspace that I use to fill your minds with information that is both amusing, interesting, and often completely worthless. I may tell you what I'm up to, or maybe I'll just post something that I found funny. It's Christmas every day on Mark's Blog!
