"Shift Happens"

In my Technology and Society class, the prof showed us a video/slideshow called "Shift Happens." It show info and stats about the shift that's happening world-wide concerning... well, just about everything. We live in a day and age where everything is changing faster and faster, for ill or good.
Here's the video below. I think the music is supposed to make you a bit nervous, but I find most of the info in the show is quite exciting. I have to be honest, though: many (if not most) of the predictions in the video seem like bunk; they go over the top. Even so, this video is pretty mind-blowing, and it's worth a look.
It just goes to show that the world won't hold still anymore. The world is always changing.
